Discrimination because of your religion

One of the exceptions to the employment at will doctrine in Texas is discrimination based on religion.  If an action was taken against you, such as, being demoted, terminated, or you received less pay, because of your religion.  Then that is actionable under Texas law.  For example, if you are a person who has to wear certain types of clothes because of your religion to the work place, and the employer knows about that, but then changes their policy as to the clothes that you have to wear, and fire you because of that.  That’s because of your religion, they are terminating you because of your religion.  You may have a claim based on that.  If you have been have received less pay, demoted, or fired because of your religion, then give me a call today.  We can help you and explain your rights to you.
