This is another video talking about the options a passenger has when involved in a car crash.  Often times people will hear the expression PIP which means Personal Injury Protection, but there's another type of insurance out there that is similar to PIP and it's called Medpay.  PIP and Medpay are similar because they are a no-fault insurance coverage in your policy where the insurance will pay for your medical expenses.  The difference between Medpay and PIP is that Medpay is designed to only pay for medical expenses.  For example, if you are a passenger in a vehicle and you get into a car accident and you incurred $2,500 worth of medical expenses and $1,500 worth of loss wages, then PIP will pay the full $4,000, but Medpay will only pay $2,500 because it’s only designed to pay for medical expenses.
