One of the reasons why an employer may not want you to file an on the job injury claim, is because they just do not want to pay.  They will bring up a lot of reason as to why you shouldn’t bring a claim, maybe they say you didn’t make your claim within 24hours, there is no witness, perhaps a manager is saying you are lying.  Even if that’s the case you should go ahead and make your claim as soon as possible, and you should pursue your claim until you get to a point when you are at a dead end.  When you are at a dead end, then you need to reach out and contact an attorney, an attorney can give you advice and tell you whether you should continue forward with your on the job injury claim.
