Continuing with the series of why an employer may not want you to make a claim against them after you have been hurt on the job.  Another reason may be that the employer actually does have worker’s compensation insurance, but they are doing some things that might not be legal or they are doing some things where they don’t want any attention brought to their company, and so they may discourage you from bringing a worker’s comp claim.  They may try and tell you not to go see a doctor, they might even get you to delay from filing a claim.  Don’t do it, you should not do any of those things.  You should pursue your rights if you have been injured on the job.  If you want to determine what your rights are, feel free to contact me so that we may discuss your rights in your free consultation.
