Recent studies from the Forbes list 2023 indicated that Texas, along with Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Kentucky, had some of the worst driving incidents in the country!

Texas scored 100 out of 100 on a list of criteria such as drowsy driving, drunk driving, fatal car crashes, and one-way street crashes placing it at the top of Forbes list of worst drivers.

Texas is home to many residents with many different and complex road ways including windy back roads and six lane highways making it difficult to navigate. Along with the complex roadways, Texas drivers also seem to be more reckless including 17 out of every 100,000 drivers being intoxicated while driving. Car crashes are common due to many difficult factors on a Texas road way.
